So far, since the last round of chemo, Anthony's been doing fine.  He hasn't gotten mouth sores or a fever yet, but we're still waiting.  He was running in circles around the sofa, dancing to the Wild Thornberry's soundtrack tonight, so he can't be feeling too bad.

By the way, I found an journal article that studied 118 patients with localized Ewing's sarcoma of the extremities (a bit different than Anthony, but close).  The study found that patients that had total tumor necrosis (basically gone) induced by preoperative chemotherapy, like Anthony had an estimated five-year survival rate (considered cured) of 95%.  I think that's pretty good.

I know Drs. have been saying don't look at the statistics, but I can't help it.  I deal with statistical measures all day long, that is what I am used to hearing.  My doctoral dissertation was on Electromagnetic scattering from STATISTICALLY rough surfaces for God's sake.  The numbers are comforting to me, they give me hope...  Anyway, I hope they make you feel better, too.
