I think things are going better this time with the throat sores.  It is hard to remember, but I think at this point after the first cycle, Anthony was not swallowing his saliva and would not talk.  He still has a lot of pain in his throat, but at least he is talking and drinking a little.  He drank some KoolAid today and he said it made his throat feel better.  He was talking a little funny, but talking nonetheless. We went to his friend Kasey's birthday party today at Chuck E Cheese.  He had a good time playing all the games and even asked if he could eat pizza.  He tried a couple of bites, but it was too painful. Watching him play was a very good thing.  But when I saw him wince after drinking some water, all I could think was - what has this poor boy done to deserve this?
