Anthony is still in the hospital.  His counts probably hit bottom yesterday.  His hemoglobin was at 5.3, very low.  They started a transfusion today and are watching him to make sure he doesn't get an allergic reaction.  His white cell count was 400 yesterday, 500 today, also low.  His platelet level was 48,000, low.  His throat sores are still bad.  We have to give him oral Tylenol for his fever, but he doesn't swallow without a fight. Maria said he seemed better last night, after the Tylenol kicked-in.  She was watching TV while he was sleeping.  He woke up, saw a Baskin Robbins commercial, and said "ooh...that looks good."  Maria said, "Do you want some ice cream in the morning?"  He said he did, but this morning his fever was up again, which probably made him miserable and he didn't want any. I am going to take over for Maria later today.  I just hope he can come home soon.
