Things seem to be going OK
so far with this treatment. Anthony is starting to say his throat
hurts and is not eating much, but that is to be expected. He hasn't
stopped drinking, which is good. If he does, it is back to the
hospital. We are swishing his mouth with Peridex (an anti-bacterial),
but since his mouth is hurting, we may switch to Kaoben (Kaopectate and
Benadryl) to soothe it a little more. As I write this, Anthony is walking around the house with a Johnny Appleseed hat that he made in school on his little bald head. He looks pretty cute. We are going to his cousin's first birthday today and are hoping he doesn't catch anything from the other kids there. It should be fun, and all the kids are looking forward to it. |
